I had been a fan of every pop-monster-sock-vinyl-tentacles-creature that filled the "neopop" movement, and as always, willing to pull out thread and needle any time such exciting opportunity would offer itself. And so it was that I made my first plushie for an Art Exchange/Auction hosted by the delightful DeContos in early 2008.
Sir Chris Holloway bid a jar of homemade pineapple ice cream and I could not refuse. I later forgot the ice-cream in his freezer and was only able to dream of its delicious taste.
ps. This series of Plushie-blogs have been long overdue as none of these loving creature have seen the light of the blog-o-sphere before. Most plushies I've created I've either been sold or given over the last two years. The Story continues tomorrow...
